Title: Debate Reverberates Going Into Final Stretch

On December 11, 2011 Mitt Romney took a crucial hit to his image.

"“10,000 bucks? $10,000 bet?” Mr. Romney said."

Mr. Perry demurred, saying that “I’m not in the bettin’ business.”

It was a strange ordeal that Romney offered Perry $10, 000, to settle a bet on the discussion of his latest book release and its contents. Strange but not surprising. Lately the debates have become heated and each candidate has to make up for any errors that they made during any of the debates, such as Romney's infamous 'oops.' 'For the other Republican candidates, like Michele Bachmann, the trick will be to use the memorable debate moments to try and generate a new buzz around their candidacies. ' They are either trying to edit the national flounders of their speech or make the public focus more on the 'good' or better things that they may have said.

In terms of 'good'. Gingrich has just taken the lead on the polls and others are crawling and fighting to overturn these results. 'Mr. Gingrich faces the challenge of building on his lead in the polls and capitalizing on what early reviews suggested was another strong debate performance on Saturday night.' the New York Times wrote.

"I think people have to measure who I am now and whether I’m a person they can trust."

Unlike Gingrich, Romney has been having a rocky time in debate. He fumbles over his words and doesn't remember what plans that he will decide to nullify if he should become president. His memory lately seems to become sketchier and sketchier as time goes on, What kind of person forgets the voting age?

You tell me.

**

The question is about how Gingrich will handle the more difficult areas of the debate, such as foreign policy.

I believe that Romney will continue to lower in the polls due to a face he showed in the debate on Saturday. Gingrich will have to tighten up on his foreign policies, else the other candidates will have to continue to pick at his plans.
