Friday, December 30, 2011, [0] Add notes Romney, Eye on Paul, Digs In as He Bets on Iowa By MICHAEL D. SHEAR and ASHLEY PARKER DEC 29 As days seem to rocket past, the public is filled with anticipation as voting for the Iowa Caucus is only days--moments away. Romeny still refuses to give attention to his opponents, his confidence is only brimming. He believes Iowa is his already, and with that gives the rest of his time to the cause. He has embraced his roots, Iowa being the state that spurred him on for years. His attention in Iowa, shows that the polls are going to give a strong showing. "Romney’s campaign signaled that it would campaign aggressively here through Tuesday, " Lest, Ron Paul is on the top this time. This is enough to scare Romney into second place. Second place doesn't seem to fit his efforts, shows his attitude. "A victory by Mr. Paul on Tuesday would test the ability of Mr. Romney’s advisers to spin a second-place result into a win for him." Attention is on Romney's adivisors now, wondering whether they have shot straight to second place for Romney and whether or not the path that they chose was correct in 'social, religious and conservative' Iowa. "'Who do you think can beat Barack Obama? Look at the candidates, decide who you like and see who you think could become president.' " *** Learning that Romney in fact could get more confident. Wasn't Gingrich just in the running last week or so? I believe that this is anyone's race for the republican spot. Each person seems to have their flaws, but Romney and Ron Paul seem to keep popping up in the end. With that, It is thought that they are going to be fighting eachother more so than the others.
