Friday, December 30, 2011, [0] Add notes Paul’s Stance on Foreign Policy Divides Many Traditional G.O.P. Voters By RICHARD A. OPPEL Jr. Published: December 29, 2011 “You should choose your fights wisely,” he said. “If it’s not there, don’t invent something, don’t shed blood needlessly.” -- Although Paul is at the top at the moment, the republican voters who favor an unbeatable national security. Apparently Ron Paul's foreign policy isn't the best. “A lot of people are very, very nervous about Ron Paul,” “We cannot afford to give him a pass when it comes to his reckless foreign policy.” His foreign policy is 'reck-less' and many people fear for the polls because of it. Because he might make it on the top. Only 42 % oppose Paul for his foreign policy against military interventions overseas, whilst about 29 % support him for it. He's promising to bring home troops in Afghanistan and Iraq as well as American military in South Korea. Another poll suggests that 70% of citizens would prefer to vote for someone to bring home American troops quickly. "In interviews at Paul campaign events this week, many said they embraced his national security proposals, rather than reluctantly accepting them. " Many believe that he would be the fix-it glue to the american problems overseas. *** Learned that there are troops in other places, and they are still 'trying' to remove them and pull them back in home. I believe that there are just too many withering promises about American troops and bringing them home. So, therefore what ron paul said about calling them in, doesn't really affect anything. Anyone can make a promise, and this doesn't really make me see him in a greater light after what he believes about Gays in America. I think that foreign policy might in fact be his weakness and this will drop him down a notch in the poles.
