Huntsman, where are you?
Friday, January 13, 2012, [0] Add notes Jan, 10, 2012 W.W. The Economist Page: 1 Topic : Politics & Government Title: Whose side are you on, Jon Huntsman? Apparently Ron Paul doesn't count as a republican due to his views on anti-war. (beside the point is this is great to a health of a small government.) Conservatives have faith in smaller government but being that Ron Paul isn't 'part' of this group he's not authentically a good representative for a small government. He just doesn't do it in the right way. On Huntsman; On the other hand Huntsman is considered 'authentic' enough to represent a small government in fact considered an authentic champion of smaller government. It all comes down to the conservative. ** I think the author of the article made folly over Huntsman and Paul as well as Gingrich in the end---dully noted. In real action, i would agree with what the author has to say. Huntsman though, I couldn't help but to think that as perfect as he seems as the leader of a, i repeat, small government, that there was something that just hasn't clicked for me. There is something i don'[t get from him, and I'm sure that I'm not the only one who thinks this, at least at one moment. In my opinion, I'd like to say that Huntsman was the most democratic republican out of all the other candidates, ( although his lack of resources and campaign money, didn't really help his cause.) I learned how different his tactics were. Too bad he dropped out. It's disappointing to see a candidate get so far and can't really own up like we expected. We'll just go for some Gingrich or Romney chocolate instead.
