Gingrich slamming, things are changing. ;;

The Economist Page: 1 Topic : Politics & Government Title: Desperate candidates v private equity "Mr Gingrich should have been expected to hew firmly to one coherent ideological line; he's always been fond of reinventing himself..." The type of bitter rivalry and attacks that Gingrich directs toward Romney would have never been accepted in Republican nomination before this year. Clearly though, other competitors have been doing the same thing, aiming attacks to the rival of their fancy. "There is something inherently wrong when getting rich off failure and sticking it to someone else is how you do your business, and I happen to think that is indefensible." The terms of republican trends have been compared to those of 'tectonic plates' , constantly shifting and showing how the race will turn the future, probably making it so people can say certain things. Republican speeches are perhaps the most tightly coiled and 'rule-structured' than anyone else. "When you hear Republican presidential candidates slamming private equity for engineering leveraged buyouts, breaking up firms, firing workers, and making a profit from selling the firm's newly streamlined assets, you are hearing evidence of a structural change as well."
