LAST ENTRY HERE in on the way to the caucus, scared?

Gender became a target, this GOP debate.

“Sometimes Congressman Bachmann doesn’t get her facts very accurate.’’

Gingrich basically said this to the public after Bachmann spoke, as if she was too inane, or stupid to gather information of her own. She retorted back quickly, apparently sick of his opinion about her. “Because this isn’t just once; I think it’s outrageous to continue to say over and over through the debate that I don’t have my facts right. When as a matter of fact, I do. I’m a serious candidate for president of the United States. ’’

It was thought insulting, or even worse off when he said that instead of challenging what she knows, basically saying that it's not worth his words or effort.

Does Gingrich have issues with women ?

This act tells others that it's alright to get out of tone with women, when in fact that is the opposite, treating women differently that men, even on the same level. Apparently, many people find this attitude with Gingrich toward Bachmann. “Newt Gingrich, when he attacks Michele Bachmann, sort of speaks in a different tone and is far more condescending to Michele Bachmann than he is the men on the stage.’’


Votes seem to suggest otherwise.

Women aren't too far behind in voting that the men are.
"A recent Gallup Poll showed him with 37 percent support from men and 28 percent from women – but that’s still more women than support the once-married Romney, who has 24 percent support from women and 22 percent from men. "

I think that Gingrich will be trying a little harder not to seem so condescending toward women in the next debate, being that Bachmann pointed it out this time around.

I don't think that he'll lose too many women voters, but he might still be on the end of the table on this one.
