Huntsman has an opinion! ;;
Sunday, December 11, 2011, [0] Add notes DEC, 8, 2011 Michael Shear PAGE: 1 TOPIC: Politics and government Title: Huntsman Lashes Out at Romney and Gingrich LAST ENTRY HERE in 'Oops, the debates are taking their final stretch! Huntsman gives his two cents on Romney and Gingrich. “We don’t need a lobbyist in chief. And we don’t need a panderer in chief. We need a commander in chief,” Huntsman is focusing at least 2/3rds of his attention on New Hampshire, attempting to mold the public's trust in the White House. On the other foot, The other third of his attention went out to how everyone else is acting. Just before a speech, Huntsman tells the public how he truely feels, 'lashing' out on both of the Republican candidates, Gingrich and Romney. He believes that the they aren't any better than the current president, Barack Obama, stating that they aren't doing anything to ensure the peoples faith and trust in the government. All the same. All in all, Huntsman decided that he's not going to back down from 'telling his opponents how it is.' 'The speech also serves to lay out a government reform plan that Mr. Huntsman hopes will appeal to voters who are frustrated with the status quo in Washington.' “If you are in the hip pocket of Wall Street, you are not going to talk about ‘too big to fail.’ You’re not going to be able to talk about ‘no more bailouts,’” he said. Huntsman claims in his speech that his solutions are based on the trust of the American people, 'the breakdown of trust'. Although his intentions aren't too clear, will this outward behavior help resurrect his falling popularity on the poles? He will be absent on Saturday, though he will continue to erect the faith in New Hampshire. And he concludes: “We are a country divided and suffering from self-doubt.” Do YOU think huntsman is a hypocrite? *** This week i learned more about Huntsman's plans if her were to become president, but why the infatuation with New Hampshire? What was addressed this week was the trust in the government and how to make this better. I don't believe that the issue was concluded, though In the beginning no-one seemed to have a plan except Cain's "999" plan, but it's good to now see that now someone has a finite goal. With this information, i can finally understand Huntsman's position in the race, and also the retorts taken by the rest of the candidates in future debates. In my opinion, the author Michael Shear, didn't seem to take any side when writing this article. In my opinion though, he seemed to focus more on what Huntsman was saying about the public, rather than how the other opponents replied to being pointed out by his words. Today in the public, i believe the way that Huntsman delivered his opinion on the others, will give room to everyone else in the debate room to pick at each other's faults even more so, especially directed at huntsman in the end. The fact that he focused on how America feels i believe that he might get a little more popularity, the public might recognize it.
